The only reason our daughter ever left Tree Frog Daycare is because we moved from Salt Spring Island. Otherwise, we would never have considered removing her! She absolutely loves “school” and asks every morning if she is going to Tree Frog today. Our daughter is a vibrant, social, playful, caring girl in large part due to the care and creative play she received at daycare. We saw her vocabulary expand in leaps and bounds, her social skills improved drastically, and her imaginative play is the greatest thing to watch. Tree Frog was extremely supportive in her transition from diaper to potty as well as from small baby room to larger room. We cannot say enough of the loving care she got from all of the childcare professionals and would whole-heartedly recommend Tree Frog to any parent looking for a daycare facility. Tree Frog was Abi’s home away from home. We knew she was in the best of care, with people who loved and cared about her. She always felt safe and had the best of times. Tree Frog is where she met her very best friend to this day.
We were a part of the Tree Frog family from when Abi was 11 months all the way through until we left as a “kindie” (when Abi started her grade one year at school.)
We love Tree Frog! The best teachers not only taught Abi all the basics of preschool, but also taught her life skills, recycling, composting, wildlife, art, music, POTTY TRAINING! And most importantly, they taught her how to interact with other children and to share with others. We definitely DO recommend Tree Frog Daycare again and again!

Tree Frog is a great place for children. Both of my sons went there between 2006 and 2010, the first one starting when he was 11 months old, the second at 15 months. Their social development has definitely been enhanced through interaction with the other children under the guidance of the teachers at Tree Frog. Speaking of the teachers, they are a skilled and caring group that treat the kids with respect and love and they instill the same values in the children.
The physical grounds are excellent as well. There is plenty of (fenced) space outside the building to explore, play and run under the supervision of the teachers.
My boys always looked forward to going to Tree Frog. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending it to other parents.

My son immediately connected to the environment and staff at Tree Frog. I was attracted by the play-based programme and the magical yard that would nurture creativity and adventures! I remain impressed by the social development that he made while in such great care (I can usually tell a Tree Frog child apart from other kids at the playground by their ability to co-operate and take turns). And Kieran, well.... he just loved being there and it was as simple as that. Thank you!

Hello Lisa,
Bing and I just want to say a HUGE thank you to you and all of your staff.
Bee and Bella are having so much fun there this summer. And knowing that they are so happy makes our summer that much sweeter too. Tami, Munday, Debbie, Mona, Janice – you have such a lovely and incredible staff. We can't say enough good things about them. (In fact, if there was one reason compelling enough for us to think about moving here full-time right now it would be TREE FROG!)
The Mother and Father's Day gifts were so creative and thoughtful, we'll hold onto them forever.
And not only are all of you great, but so too are all of the arts, crafts, (jam!) and outdoor activities. Long live Helmet Hill!!!
We love that the girls are outside so much and learning so much at the same time. They are so lucky to be a part of it all.
And us all lucky to be a part of the Tree Frog family.
